Bartons Mill Dog Walk - First SATURDAY of every month Start the weekend with fresh air, good company, and plenty of wagging tails. Meet at the pub from 9.30am, everyone’s welcome: dogs, friends, families. Grab a coffee to go and pick up some doggy snacks before we set off. Bring wellies. And if your four-legged troublemaker ends up covered in mud, @mandmdogwash is just around the corner to sort them out.

Valentines Live Music

Join us for a special Valentine’s evening of live music at Bartons Mill. From 7pm on Saturday the 14th February, we’re welcoming Tommy Burnhams @tommyburnhamsmusic at the main pub for a relaxed night of acoustic favourites, the perfect soundtrack for date night, drinks with friends, or a cosy weekend treat. No tickets needed, just come along, grab a table, and enjoy the music. Arrive early to get a good spot. Food and drinks available as usual throughout the evening.

Duck Race

Our much-loved Annual Duck Race is back, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for a fun day by the river. This is one of our favourite community traditions, expect laughter, friendly competition, and plenty to enjoy for all ages.

Join us this Bank Holiday Monday from 12pm for a full day of family fun by the river. Expect duck races, games, a BBQ, cold drinks, and all the summer vibes.

How it works
Numbered ducks are released into the water and race their way downstream. Cheer yours on and see if it crosses the finish line first, there are prizes up for grabs for the winners.

On the day you can enjoy:
• A great atmosphere on the riverside
• Children’s activities and family fun
• Food and drinks available from the pub
• Raffles and spot prizes throughout the event

Bring friends, family, and your best cheering voice, and don’t forget to pick your duck early as numbers are limited.

The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book Outdoor Theatre at Bartons Mill - Save the Date Immersion Theatre are bringing their critically-acclaimed musical adaptation of The Jungle Book to Bartons Mill, and it promises to be an unforgettable evening by the river. Filled with original music, audience interaction and larger-than-life characters, you’ll join Mowgli, Baloo and Bagheera on a madcap jungle adventure as they try to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan. Funny, exciting and wildly entertaining, this “AOOO-some” musical is the perfect treat for the whole family! Good to know: • Recommended age: 4+ • Approx. run time: Act 1 – 45 mins / Interval / Act 2 – 40 mins Tickets will be available to purchase soon, more details on timings and pricing to follow.
