Beer garden
Bartons Mill is a converted mill that’s full of history and charm, and can be found in Old Basing; a village in Hampshire.
We have a peaceful river running through the grounds; it’s a great place to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and spot local birdlife. Meanwhile, our dog-friendly beer garden, which spans our large riverside patio and garden area, features the remnants of a working water wheel.
There’s plenty of seating and parasols in our beer garden, which is surrounded by our sprawling lawn, where you can relax and soak up the sun. And when the sun’s not out it’s a space you can still enjoy all-year round, in the winter months we put up a covered seating area with heating and lighting.
An afternoon spent admiring the riverside view is time well spent, especially if you’re catching up with friends or having some quality family time.
You’ll find we’re easy to get to; we’re not far from the M3. We’re also right near so many local attractions including Basing House, Milestones Museum, Hackwood Park, and Highclere Castle.
